With the app, you can view someone's real-time location or get their location history. If the person you are tracking is using an Android phone, they can easily share their location with you using the location-sharing feature on Google Maps.

An old question, but here's the answer in case anyone is interested… At the bottom left, click on the “layers” menu, then select “more”. The resulting pop-up has a tickbox marked “labels”. Clear that and you'll have no street names (nor town names, business names etc).

At the top, tap the search box and enter an address, name of a place, or choose a category, like gas stations or groceries. Tip: After you find a place on the map, you can check directions to the place in a list, details about a place, or get directions with voice-guided navigation.
